CM Machinery Rafter Board Saw
CM Machinery has developed a multi cut saw unit for the production of compressible rafter insulation boards.
The saw produces a series of parallel overlapping partial depth slots along each surface of the board to provide it with a capability of being squeezed into place between rafter timbers.
The saw has a series of high-speed blades, which are set at a fixed pitch to suit the multiple slotting. The blades are height adjustable to allow different board thicknesses to be processed.
The board is fed through the saw area by a powered drive arrangement. This allows the saw section to be totally enclosed for noise and dust capture, ensuring comfortable working conditions for the operator.
Versions of the machine for full width and partial width input boards can be provided.
Additional full depth slitting heads can also be provided to allow the production of boards suitable for standard rafter pitches to be produced direct from the machine and from full width input boards.
