CM Supply New Multi Cut Saw

CM Machinery have recently supplied a multiple blade saw to a leading manufacturer of rigid foam insulation board.

The machine produces pallet support strips from start up scrap boards.

The ingoing boards are loaded by the operator onto an existing side table, where they are mechanically pushed forward to be fed through the multiple saw blades.  The resulting strips are fed through to a stacking area, where they are automatically built onto pallets for ease of unloading / subsequent handling.

The machine provides the opportunity to cut costs for the insulation manufacturer by providing a component, which is usually sourced outside the company.  It also helps lower waste volume by reducing scrap board going to landfill.
