CM Panel Cutting Bandsaw for Metal Faced Insulated Panel

CM Machinery has recently developed a Metal Insulated Panel Cutting Bandsaw for a construction company who manufacture off site buildings. This machine has the facility to both crosscut and rip cut insulated structural panels to finished size. It uses a vertical running saw band for cutting, which is controlled by rotating blade twisters to provide the traverse direction for crosscutting and the longituding direction for rip cutting.

The machine also has the facility to work from an optimised cutting list, which is automatically downloaded from a central production computer, to minimise material usage.

 

This machine was specifically designed and manufactured to meet the customers unique application. It is based on CM's successful panel cutting band saw, a number of which have been in operation with insulation panel production companies throughout Europe.  

CM Machinery feels confident this technology can be adopted to suit further, similar applications in the future.
